SUMMARY:Camp Ruapehu (Oct School Holidays)
DESCRIPTION:UPDATE: The government decision on Monday 21st September was great news for the team! Although Auckland will be under Level 2 restrictions\, the Ruapehu region will be reduced to Level 1. \n\n\n\nWhat does this mean? \n\n\n\nThere will be no capacity restrictions up on Turoa and Whakapapa (which have been in place under Level 2)\n\n\n\nAlso\, some other exciting updates: \n\n\n\nBookable parking for 2020 ends on Sunday 27th September. This means that from Monday 28th September there will be no more bookable parking for Turoa or Whakapapa and parking will operate on a ‘first in\, first served basis’Turoa lifts are now all up and running for the rest of the season (including the Nga Wai Heke Quad Chairlift)Whakapapa lifts are all up and running except the Far West chair and T-Bar. The team are currently working on the Far West T-Bar with an aim to get it up and running this season!\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nJoin us down at Ruapehu for week one of the school holidays! The team will be based in Ohakune for the duration of the camp\, although our plan for training consists of 4 x days of freeski training\, plus 3 x days of training on Whakapapa which provisionally will include 3 hours of training in a course each morning followed by freeski training in the afternoon. \n\n\n\nThe duration of the camp will be coached by Justin Stoddard & Duane Barakat.
