DESCRIPTION:One of our favourite junior events of the winter season\, we’ll be at Mt Hutt for the Junior Interfield South Island Championships from the 28th-29th September 2024\, preceded by a lane training day at Mt Hutt on Friday 27th September\, and followed by the postponed National Points Slalom Race on Monday 30th September. \n\n\n\nCoaches in attendance for this weekend will be Adrian\, Nick and Duane. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nRace Registration\n\n\n\nRace registrations must be completed by each athlete via the SSNZ Mt Hutt | Junior Interfield South Island Championships page. Race registrations close at 3.00pm TOMORROW (Wednesday 25th September). \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nCoaching/Representation Fees\n\n\n\n\n\nFriday 27th September(Lane Training Day at Mt Hutt)$145.00Saturday 28th September(Slalom Race Day at Mt Hutt)$145.00Sunday 29th September(Giant Slalom Race Day at Mt Hutt)$145.00Monday 30th September(National Points Race Day at Mt Hutt – U14 & older)$145.00\n\n\n\n\n\n\nRegister Now\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAccommodation Options\n\n\n\nWe have rooms reserved for us at Barkers Lodge in Methven. For those that haven’t stayed with us at Barkers Lodge before\, it is very comfortable and all rooms have their own ensuites. DESCRIPTION:Northern Ski Team are offering on-mountain training opportunities for athletes on Saturday 21st & Sunday 24th August at WHAKAPAPA.  \n\n\n\nThe coaching team will be lead by Nick Sheetz and Duane Barakat. \n\n\n\nKey Details: \n\n\n\n\nAthlete training fees: $155.00 per day\n\n\n\nWe have spaces for 12 athletes on Saturday (coached by Nick) and 24 athletes on Sunday (coached by Duane & Nick with the support of senior athletes)\n\n\n\nApproximate Schedule:\n\n8.30am: Meet at the Whakapapa Base Cafe\n\n\n\n9.00am: Upload the Gondola to the Knoll Ridge Cafe\n\n\n\n9.00am-11.00am: Morning training session\n\n\n\n11.00am-12.00pm: Lunch\n\n\n\n12.00pm-1.30pm: Afternoon training session\n\n\n\n\n\nThe weather\, snow and operational conditions will determine what training options are available to us.
